The oil seal after vulcanization and molding in the post-processing assembly section needs to be trimmed with glue edges
In particular, the lip of the oil seal is a key part of the product's performance and service life, and often needs to be trimmed. According to the oil seal mold structure, the main lip often has several structures as shown in the figure below: that is, the full incision lip (full cut), the local incision lip (half cut), and the molded lip. Molded lip products are achieved using edgeless molds, and the product can be trimmed by tearing. Full and semi-cut lip products need to be trimmed with a trimmer (cutter). Cutters are sold with standard equipment at home and abroad. The skeleton trimming and crimping of the outer skeleton oil seal and the combination oil seal are generally carried out on non-special tooling equipment. As the last process of oil seal production, it is equipped with springs, most domestic manufacturers are manual operation, but there are also individual manufacturers to introduce foreign automatic spring loading machines.
